Will be interesting to see how this plays out. New Glarus' reputation seems to really be the only thing at stake, if they were to come off looking like a bunch of jerks here. If they're really set on the name, they should just throw some money at Plymouth, assuming the Untappd check-ins would hold up in court. I still don't think Next Door has any sort of claim given Plymouth and the NG trademark application date.

I picked up 1.5 cases of Cran-bic and I am curious to see how it develops over the next few years. The 2014 version hasn't changed very much in a year and a half (I still have 4-5 bottles left and it's as delicious as ever) but with the addition of Brett I'm guessing the 2016 version will be a different story. I haven't seen a good description of the differences between the 2014 and 2016 versions so please correct me if I'm wrong - the color is obviously different (I'm guessing due to using the cranberry skins?) and even fresh there seems to be a definite Brett presence.

Anyone know if there's any more Oud Bruin hanging around Kenosha? Woodmans and Tenuta's are listed on the NG website as still having it, but I know that's not always accurate. Thanks!

Best bet is probably to just give them a call and ask

Cranbic has been available since early April I believe. I picked some up back near the end of April.

When we will know what the first R&D will be? Does it typically happen a week or so out?

My bad. I should have been more clear with my question. I was wondering when NG typically annouces the name of the R&D before the actual release.

Usually about a week, so I'd expect an announcement not this weekend but the following!

This is consistent with what they said on my hard hat tour - they expect Vintage to be one of the releases every year moving forward.

Excellent, I love this stuff. I still hope they eventually expand the gueuze into fourpers or seasonal bombers.

I'm genuinely more excited for Bubbler than Vintage 2015.
