Amen! I also think the holiday weekend has a lot to do with the slow crowds today. Im sure a ton of people jetted from the city early.

They left the city knowing full well there was a Grimm release? Amateurs

Do you really not grasp this? Or is this just a form of venting because your job doesn't allow flexibility that many other jobs obviously allow. Many people have offered up explanations in this thread for how they can grab cans in the middle of the day. Just because your job doesn't allow the (minimal) flexibility to leave for an hour or so during the day doesn't mean all jobs are the same and similarly inflexible. Obviously if I'm super busy on something time-sensitive, or I have a meeting, I can't do this, but otherwise there's no real issue with ducking out and working later or at home or whatever to get the work done. There are plenty of jobs throughout the city like this.

Obviously, this doesn't even account for all the myriad of other jobs that would allow buying cans during the middle of the day. Hospitality/service industry people that work night shifts, self-employed people who can set their own hours, students - the list goes on and on.

You only need a small number of people anyway to just go around the city and snatch these cans. 8 million people live in NYC and more work there. It makes perfect sense that these cans get snatched up in the middle of the day.

Just got in to WF Chelsea. One can pp, and they didn't get rubus. Sounded like 4-packs are over there.

I was just there within the hour. They let me have a 4-pack, and the guy right after me too. They did say they were doing singles most of the day, but, don't see any issue with a 4-pack.

I actually didn't even keep up on beer releases this week as I was on the West Coast and walked in to get some grapefruit sculpin and I asked what's new.

Yeah someone in front of me was able to get 4 after talking to the cashiers at customer service, but the guy that's typically working the beer area walked it up with me and said it's one pp from now on.

Thanks for the response. It'd be a bitch for me to get there now and it's definitely not worth going for just one so thanks for saving me the trip.

Was probably me. I didn't ask for more, he just said I could have it.

The guy (Ben) who is/was their cicerone, actually doesn't work in their beer department anymore, he does olives now. Though they still advertise him as such. There is a new girl in charge of the beer section.

Dreamweapon is behind the counter at Beer Culture on 45th. They have a bunch available. $6 per can. I took two cans for the long weekend.

Dreamweapon tastes like the little brother in the family of Grimms great DIPAs, tesseract, lambo, and afterimage just by virtue of being a bit smaller though delicious.

No wonder Dreamweapon was so easy to find. It is very underwhelming. Very mellowed hop profile and no nose all. I am so glad I didnt have to run around to find it. Not even sure if I want to drink remaining 3 cans.

Agreed. Keep these single IPAs coming @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales

Also, really enjoyed Future Perfect. Great nose, soft fruit flavors. Grilling beer today for sure

Just found another bottle of Future Perfect out on the island. Scooped it with the quickness. Great weekend to crack it open and sit on the balcony.

I also found dreamweapon underwhelming, I'm not the biggest fan of el dorado so that might be it, I got a bunch of bitterness on the front end and not much flavor after that. Aroma is not really all there for me. It wasn't the easiest Grimm beer to drink
