If its a full batch there should be a ton of it. Regardless of yield I doubt it will sell out tonight.

I think this is it. Once this initial crazy passes us by I'm sure they'll be available at the brewery all the time, if they're not already.

So people are thinking they won't last through the weekend? I'm hitting the beach Saturday and plan to go late afternoon.

Yea I was actually surprised yesterday when I went and they told me they went through almost half already. I guess the parts for the massive canning line aren't in and they're still doing smaller runs (that's my speculation no one told me that). If you really want cans for this weekend I'd get there today

So I'm going to get a growler fill tonight in addition to attempting to get cans. Not going to have time to really do a taster so curious what people would recommend between the Hop Lab Wheat and Hop Lab El Dorado. Wish they were filling Citra . . .

    Thanks

hmmmm. Personally I would go with the wheat. But if you let them know you are filling a growler and deciding between two they will give you just a small sip of each.

I overheard last night that they possibly would be canning more today.

I'm going to be pissed if I end up getting yesterday's cans today then. I only drink fresh IPAs.

Another canning run would be relevant to my interests since I wouldn't be able to make it there until tomorrow at the earliest.

Over/under on how many people milling around in the parking lot tomorrow morning in hopes of a Mexican brunch release???

If think it's very unlikely to be released on a holiday weekend. They'll be crowded enough as it is with people going to the shore.

Hopefully people will realize this and not crowd the parking lot looking for bottles, but grabbing a case for the weekend isn't out of the question for people showing up early.

I actually thought today would be the perfect day to release if you want to benefit locals and regulars. Only a maniac would contend with MDW Shore traffic to make the trip - even if it is for Mexican Brunch! And even if those from North Jersey or out-of-state did make the trip, it'd take soo long to get to Kane that locals and regulars would still have a great chance of getting bottles.

Don't need to add to the holiday traffic and make it worse for the employees that have to work the holiday weekend. It's being a better neighbor NOT to release this weekend.

Here we go again with the locals and regulars deserve stuff because geographical location in some way trumps all the people who drink Kane at their local spots which in turn supports Kane's keg sales and distribution. Did I in some way lose my, "stake," because I moved further away in the past few years? How do we compare my purchasing prior to my move to a person who just started going there in the past few months but lives down the block? Who is more entitled? Get the point? :astonished:

Until someone posts actual proof that $6. flights are what actually keep the lights on at Kane, I think It's fair to say Kane is more than happy to have the tons of people who keep their beer flowing to their many retail accounts just as much as the entitled crowd that think they own the brewery and are in some way entitled to every release because of the dumb luck that Kane opened shop in their neck of the woods.

This entitlement BS is really tired at this point. You wanna know who deserves the beer? He who pays Kane the money for it. No more, no less.
