    It will happen, sir. My favorite tennis moment was meeting Seles, getting a pic, and autograph on my birthday, which coincidentally, is also her birthday.

    When I was stationed in Indiana back in the mid eighties, my partner and I would run in 10K, 5 mile, and 5K races each weekend throughout the state. We explored a large part of Indiana that way. I still have "fond" memories of the Blueberry Stomp in Plymouth. A 15K slog of torture! :grimacing:

    Yeah, she's a bit older than me, but she was hot in her 20's, at least I thought so. Apparently she's into older men; I think her current husband is in his 70's? I'd have to look, but yeah, I'm not kidding. He obviously has money, but I doubt that was her motivation. She is not hurting in that regard.

    Beautiful day here in Jersey...my first foray with the Brew Gentlemen, and I am pleasantly surprised! It's billed as a mosaic DIPA but it's really tropical with hardly any onion notes at all. Good way to kick off a holiday weekend, cheers all!

    Ok, playing off listening to Electric Ladyand, we followed this progression (all via the new-fangled music service):
    • Catfish Blues (Hendrix)
    • Rollin' and Tumblin' (Muddy Waters, Dylan, Cream)
    • various Muddy's songs
    • Hootchie Cootchie Man (Waters, Hendrix, Allman Brothers)
    Which led me to discussing Mountain Jam, which led me to the fact that the Allman's had at least 3 instrumental hits. I couldn't remember Jessica, but when I found it - I hummed it to the GF. Her appropriate, yet amazing reaction was: "Somehow I got that" - and she did know the song :grimacing::grimacing:!!

    Then we moved to this:


    Too bad I have no SRV on vinyl. But the first song played in that video (which I am pretty sure I watched the "cut" version on something like PBS or something) I do have an alternate take of on vinyl:

    Cougar! I'm kidding, and you know that. I say this: If it works, do it. My father is 9 years older than my mother. It never seemed awkward to me at all. Some things just pair well together. Take the Hunter and IPA, for example :slight_smile:
