there is a decent little bottle shop right on Rt. 30 in Bondville:

They've usually got a couple decent tap beers for growler fills. Also you can check out discount beverage in Manchester if you're coming down the hill for a visit:

We don't get the beers from up north down here, so yeah, you'll probably need to make the drive up there to pick up anything mentioned earlier in this thread. Sounds like Heady isn't going to make an appearance down here again until November timeframe if my source is correct.

The Boston Globe Magazine had a very nice article on Waterbury yesterday:
The Best Beer Town in New England
Sorry to say that it's probably behind the firewall.

I'll say that the Magic Hat brewery is pretty entertaining, and they usually have something up that isn't generally available. Whether or not it's actually good is a defferent story. If you have nothing else to do, it may be worth a trip.

I'm actually going to be in Burlington/Waterbury this weekend if anyone wants to meet up for a pint. BM me if interested.

That time of year is pretty much the deadest season for tourists, which is great if you want to load up on headies, but not so great because some restaurants and bars could close early.
There could be some snow, but probably not much. Honestly, if you play your cards right, Magic Hat is probably the worst brewery you'll visit here.
