The thing that stuck out to me about JAFB was that every single beer I tried, was good to very good. Not one of their beers wasn't well executed, at least from what I had. I really want to get back down there.

Funny how these limits keep dropping. I'm wondering if it's related to the quantity they made or trying to extend the release. The past few have been over by 4 PM, before many people get off work.

I wonder if it has to do with how much they plan to send up north.

And 90 days from today is Monday, August 29, 2016.

Looks like I can buy something over 12% for Labor Day? How long do you think it will take for stuff to start showing up that is over the 12% mark? I see that they have to be labeled as having high alcohol content. Will that prevent things from coming in? Will distributors add stickers to stuff?

Just some random thoughts. I'm sure it will all work itself out once stuff starts making the rotation.

I thought the labeling issue might be a detriment to some out of state beer coming in, too. Not sure, but I'm more interested in Ohio beers that get made, though, and I am guessing any new beer will have a new label with the madated nomenclature.

Also not sure how the labeling guidlines affect draft beer.

Ooof. As much as I'd like to support local breweries, that's one I won't visit. Springfield is a shithole, no offense to anyone who might live there.

Wittenberg has a beautiful campus. I probably won't drive all the way up to Springfield to visit, but I'm sure it's a hell of a lot nicer than Morengo.

Engine #2 by Homestead is really good. Don't pass on it if you see it on tap.

Glad you didn't take offense. I guess when you were born and raised in a nice town that became a shithole like Zanesville, you can see it in other towns when you visit. I had to visit a funeral home in Springfield for calling hours of my coworker's father, and it was a fairly shitty part of town, it seemed.

Yea just like Dayton,Columbus, and Cincinnati your have your rough parts of town and nicer parts the brewery is downtown near the new hospital so it's a pretty nice section plus there is a beer garden as well so should be a beautiful area to enjoy some great beer
