I did a tasting at Cortland Beer co. and was impressed with the 10 beers offered. The Bourbon Barrel aged Red ale and Bourbon barrel aged barley wine were amazing. Cortland beer has come a long way fast.

Sorry, that was $9.99 for the Founders. I believe Double DBA is $15.99.

Oh no I got that, I was asking if the Double DBA was what's priced at $9.99. Sounds like it's FBS.

Oh yeah, the Double DBA was 15.99 at the Co-op and Galeville, only Brilbecks had it for 13.99. FBS was for 10.49 at Galeville.

Sidenote, anyone know when we might see some Founders Harvest Ale in CNY? I love good wet-hop beers.

Quick Utica-area update: Marcy Beverage's fbook page says they'll be getting Stillwater, Evil Twin, Perfect Crime, and a couple other hard to find marks soon. I called, and they didn't have a firm answer for what exactly will come in or when, but probably in the next week or so (is what I was told).

    I am . . . excited.

I heard that Capt. struck a deal with Spirit and Sanzone to distribute to cny. Not sure of the time frame and not sure how accurate this info is. Hopefully we'll get some Capt. soon!

That would be awesome. Liquid Gold, Ommegang BPA, and Weyerbacher Verboten are all so solid, they've made me reconsider what otherwise seems like a pretty boring category (Belgian Pale Ale). Captain's Reserve is really, really excellent when fresh, too . . . can't wait to get the rest of Capt. Lawrence's line around here.

Sidenote, still jonesing for some Hops 'n Roses . . .
