I believe by paying $300 bucks you get to buy TWO cases or it would make no sense for anyone to buy 2 tickets.

Tickets are for the dinner only. No bottles are "thrown in" for free for take home. You have to buy bottles for whatever bottle price the determine. I'm going to GUESS they will charge more towards $30/bottle this year due to the demand/hype and what other comparative breweries are selling beers for.

Also keep in mind that service fees and CC processing fees are not included in that amount. The tickets for the dinner are actually around $148.82 apiece, with those added in.

Finally, I'm assuming that "$140 apiece including tax and gratuity" means that they have already included taxes in that amount and that there's no typo. If not, then adding local sales tax, fees, CC processing actually bumps the price up to around $160.65 per ticket.

It's costly, but looking at the menu, I can see why the price got raised. Was at the last dinner and it was actually pretty decent portions for what is a typical multi course meal. I remember the tickets lasting online for several days at the lower price. I'm certain this time around it'll sell out in about a minute or less.

$30/bottle for 500ml would make this one of the most expensive adjunct stouts in the country, wouldn't it?

When you click on "Get Tickets" it asks for an Access Code. I wonder if they are allowing certain people the chance to buy dinner tickets before they go on sale on Sunday. If so, that means there will most likely be less than 60 tickets available per session.

You're on to something, some will see this as an investment.

Oh, you know plenty of new money beer mentality is all about "You know how much last years sells for? Man, this is my retirement fund!" as he ignores the pokemon stack of cards, beanie babies and comic books taking up space in their place.

I mean, who really drinks beer now any way? It's all about buying beer to trade for other beer that you will then trade for more beer you'll raffle off and then cry in to you pile of black market fat stacks.

Any idea if Eureka Burger had any involvement with FO '16. I'd expect getting pours at their chains when announced would be a more affordable option for those not wanting to spend lots cash or be ready at the click.

    $140 + $140(wife) + $300(case @$25per) + $300 + $100(3+1T3 public sale) = $980 of glorious FO-ness.

    rock. and. roll.

Yes $140 is a lot of money per person. But this is 6 courses with 6 beers, also including tax and tip. It'd be the same at any other fancy lobster dinner, if not more. Plus you don't have to buy a full case, just granted the privilege to do so. If I get a ticket to the dinner, I'm just gonna hook up my regular trade partners on the east coast at cost.

If it did go for 500ml @ $30 each (which I doubt), it'd be ridiculous.

Plus the chance to buy a case of FO - value of $25.00 (don't ask how I came up with that #)
back that out... we got a $75.00, six course dinner+beer, tax and tip not included.
