I actually preferred the Dystopian Forest to the Milkshake. But I only had a 4 oz sample of it at the Fermentaria so far. Looking forward to a full can tonight. Although I might have to put away my growler of Sea of Green first.

The Calamansi Milkshake is very well done and based on the reactions I was seeing people loved it. I just prefer more of the in your face hops to the mixed drink umbrella type flavor in my beer.

Way too much beer speak, not enough chairs. We want chairs!

The dystopian was pretty great I was a little worried it would have been like the dfh pa tuxedo and drinking a Christmas tree but it was pleasantly surprising

Down side of this is you never know what the alottments are until last minute. I wouldnt expect (2) 4pks of shake to be the norm.

Annnnnnnddddd again.. Ive been to multiple releases and have yet to find someone to have the balls to move or steal someones chair. The sentiment is the same.

I thought all the milkshakes have had a limit of 2 4-packs each. If I remember correctly there was going to be a 1 4-pack limit on Lychee but it was increased to 2.

That could be true but I also remember when it was (3) 4pks pp for the first run of shake cans.

Had a pint of Hophands the other night at my local that was not very good. No real typical juiciness to speak of. I guess they forgot to "hop intensely" on this batch.

I had a pint of HopHands at my local beer bar last night and I found it to be disappointing.:slight_frown:

    Cheers!

A few of the cans of HH I had lately weren't great. The last alien church batch was pretty good at least.

well they decreased to 1pk this time, but it was when they were nearly out. kinda pointless, they were on tap so it's not like anyone would be missing anything. especially when someone can apparently buy a case. i missed out, clearly underestimating milkshake. i've only tried blackberry when it was on tap.

my point was if you drink 2-3 beers you are most likely over .08

Depends on the beer and sizes obviously but if you might be over .08 there is no excuse for driving.

issue wasn't the 'point' you think you made, and you haven't clarified anything. you said "everybody does it". read what you wrote and try again. rather you didn't, because you sound like a mess.

Unfortunately most tired hands threads have become a mess. More about complaints about chairs or lack of releases than the actual beers themselves which for some I'm guessing have become tainted by their salty tears of woe.

Hopefully most of the kegs last till late tomorrow for the anniversary party. I plan on hitting Forest & Main before hand. So many different breweries doing releases tomorrow its just impossible to go to everything.

Anyone over there? Just saw a pic they posted on Instagram and it doesn't seem that crowded.

It wasn't crowded at all, great event at Tired Hands, killer beers on tap and super low key. Nothing at all like the Fermentaria anniversary. Also met a few nice BA's. Nice meeting you Al.
