I don't know. I guess I don't get it. You can pick up any HA beer a few hours later with absolutely no line. Just be patient and you won't have to wait.

But if everyone did this then the line would just form later in the day!

And all Half Acre beers hit distro. I, for the life of me, can't understand why people wait in line for over an hour for a half acre hoppy beer that will extremely easy to
    Come by.

In general I agree with your statement. With that being said, things like GDDC, BHA and even regular DDC sell out very quickly at the places I frequent, so lining up for them is the best bet.

Also, I don't anticipate having to line up for BHA, but it's the one beer of theirs for which I WOULD.

A lot of the retail shops have limits. My fiance and I get a full allotment each so we can send them out to friends and trade partners. Driving around the city to come up with 8 bottles will take a lot longer than waiting in line for 90 minutes.

Not to mention that I then get to drink it fresh on tap at the brewery and potentially get to meet some cool people in line.

Go a bit later to avoid big lines, save $1+ per bottle (compared to distro pricing), leave happy.

Went through the line in about 15 minutes at 11:15 am, maybe 20 people in front of me. HA guy at the register said he didn't expect any bottles to be around tomorrow.

I agree, no way it lasts till tomorrow, but short line made it worth the trip.
