Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates (2018)

i sent a PW Lupine to a friend down in Miami and he said it was infected. It started spuming slow, not an intense gush. Tasted sour. Anyone have a similar experience? I had one myself and it was really good, so PW is making me look bad :/

 

I drank mine last night and it was super delicious.

LOL. if you think i'm trolling you're way off. and i doubt my friend would lie to me about it. what's the point? i just wanted to share a beer i thought was great and he hit me up saying it was infected. i hadn't seen anyone mention anything like that on other platforms, so i just wanted to ask here.

i really enjoyed mine, and have heard nothing but good things so far, so if he's the only one that got a bad bottle for whatever reason, then that sucks for him.

yea, temperatures are much hotter now so maybe that's it.

 

I hate to argue with Beer, Bros & BS, but the chances of the beer being "infected" or "sour" is slim to none. Nucleation does not automatically mean there is an issue with the beer, flavor or otherwise. Judging from the other beers consumed in "Episode 42": Electric Chair Tart Lemon Shandy & Lemon Meringue Blonde, I could see how some foaming plus a new unfamiliar hop (unnamed), and tasting other sour beers could lead one to think it was sour and/or infected (real low bitterness on this guy, with some sharp fruit and sweetness, tangy I would call it).

PM me and come to the brewery and drink one with me and I'll give you another to mail to him and see if he thinks the same thing.

Yeah. OK, well, uh, we found, uh, this mouse in a bottle of YOUR BEER, eh. Like, we was at a party and, uh, a friend of ours - a COP - had some, and HE PUKED. And he said, uh, come here and get free beer or, uh, he'll press charges.

 

i'd like to go for a visit., i'll pay for the bottles.

sucks to drive by there at least once a week as i go to the in-laws down the street but it's not open.

you can come visit. can't promise a lupine as they are all spoken for (from the posts previous). But we can probably find something to enjoy together.
