While the price point is nice for a 750ml, it's not great considering dollar per ounce. I really wish they would have canned this and offered it in a four pack. They would compete directly with W6 Heller Heaven locally, but I absolutely love Mosiac hops and would have bought it in heart beat if it were like $10-12 a four pack.

I'm not sure why Country Boy doesn't can more interesting things. Maybe their canning line is elsewhere? That's what I'm assuming atleast.

Country Boy is the enigma to me. They can two beers but 750 mL everything else. It seems rather weird to me to do that. I would have enjoyed to pick up a 4-6 pack of this. Does anyone know how their canning line works? I am guessing they don't have any blank cans to do this for. Seems like a bit of a poor management process. I am a big proponent of cans anymore, so I am hoping they figure it out and start putting some of these experimentals in cans.

I think once their production brewery opens in Georgetown, we'll start to see more canned offerings. I don't know when that facility is set to open, but they just broke ground on it a few months ago.

I've seen the can label for Halfway Home somewhere online, but never heard anything about it actually making it into cans. That was about a year ago.

Looks like Country Boy is releasing Double Barrel Shotgun Wedding tonight at the taproom. Aged it in a Rum Barrel. Sounds yummy.

Arriving in Louisville on Thursday. Best spot to pick up ATG cans?

Ended up getting sick this weekend so didn't go. From what I hear, it was pretty darn good. The rum added some fruity notes that complemented the vanilla.

Yeah, Halfway Home was going to be a seasonal IPA release. Unofficially, the plan was scrapped because the artwork got criticized. Officially, I'm not sure, but I really hope they get the butter problem solved before they can any IPAs (4+ years in, and they still put butter bombs on tap at the brewery).

I had it at Hopcat when it first released, then had it this weekend at the brewery. It's the best BA offering since Rum Nate's, but this one even tastes good when it's chilled. So much vanilla. I still prefer the bottles of DBSW though.

Did anyone see that Country Boy's website got hacked? I was on it a couple days back and an Arab something kept coming up and singing. Weird but hilarious!

Have they released DBSW in bottles recently or just on tap? I'm getting excited to be local to KY brews again.

This batch of Rum DBSW is not being bottled, from what I've been told. Maybe if they do a batch for the fall.

I can't tell you how difficult this was to get... Chicago got 12 cases going to 12 stores. All will be gone within a few hours of arrival. But I did it!

CBB just sneak dropped a Rye Whiskey barreled strong ale in collab with Baird Brewing in Japan. It's been sitting for months because they've been supposedly trying to coordinate a simultaneous release with Baird and it takes time to get the beer to Japan.

Sounds interesting. I might try to score a bottle this week if its left their for the weekend. Would be interested to try a strong ale from them.

I see no one answered and this might be too late, but try calling ATG and seeing if their production facility is open for can sales. Not far from downtown. They may even sell cans to go at the brewpub although I've never asked. The better stores which you've probably already researched will probably all have some but availability is sketchy.

Well, you're not going to want to go anywhere near ATG/downtown tomorrow (unless it's to go to Ali's funeral)...
