I can definitely see where someone may interpret "shelves" as multiple places. All over Denmark is an exaggerated interpretation IMHO. I said shelves because it was sitting on shelves. Not one shelf. It was on shelves. Yes, plural. Meaning there was enough of it at jacked up prices that and it didn't allow for it to fit onto one shelf. Most retail liquor stores have shelves. Your brewery/breweries as a singular vs plural form relating to shelf/shelves is equally confusing

 

So was it at places other than Warpigs for sale legally? (as in not some place that scored some bottles and decided to resell, we have seen bottles of Dark Lord for sale in Chicago liquor stores before, but of course not legally)

 

Yes, it was at Mikkeller and Friends bottle shop. Which I assume is owned by Mikkeller so it would be legit. I should say "is" and I'm sure it is still available. They had some regular Dark Lord for sale there as well.

 

This is why the Danes can't have nice things...

 

Well that seems normal. Mikkeller web shop regularly has FFF bottles available for sale.

 

And it was marked at 720 dkk if I remember correctly. Just a little expensive...

 

Which is $110 dollars. If lower tier variants were for sale at the Kiosk at $110 they wouldn't last very long. The bitching, on the other hand, would last for quite a while.

 

Just saw some DL and variants in Copenhagen for $125+ a few weeks ago. Ran into an Italian guy with 4 bottles of DL while at a bar and I was really confused, then I saw them in a few spots around the city.

 

Dark Lord and variants sitting on shelves in Copenhagen? Damn, this meant Bernie Sanders was right, Europe's system IS better...
