CCB Growler Tuesday Thread

Whoops....missed posting yesterday's.

Cuvee de Fromm 9: a blend of Puppy's Breath porter, Milk Was a Bad Choice Chocolate Mill Stout, and Big Sound Scotch Ale aged on Rye Whiskey soaked White Oak and coffee beans.

FYI...it's still available this morning in case you missed out yesterday OR wanted to grab another crowler

 

Growler Tuesday is Grapefruit IPA.

This beer is Jai Alai IPA aged on grapefruit.

Starts at noon. Limit one growler per person.

$10 32 oz, $18 64 oz.

Really enjoyed this one!

 

Today's offering is Maple Caffe Americano Double Stout. Double stout brewed with coffee, vanilla, cacao nibs, and aged on maple. $18/32oz. $32/64oz

 

Yumm maple!

 

I assume this is maple wood left over from Homefront and not Maple syrup, which would have been the bomb

 

I think I had this on cask a while back and it was excellent.

 

Yeah. Pretty sure it is maple wood since the used the words "aged on." Not sure if its left over from Homefront. CCB uses maple wood for a number of treatments

 

Yeah, this was recently on cask

 

It just kicked. Making it the fastest GT to sell out (in my recollection) since the Apple Brandy Cow Boss. Also, CCB has confirmed that it was maple SYRUP (not maple wood).

 

I thought it was phenomenal on cask--I even liked it better than CBS. Glad I got a growler, and I hope it's as good when it's not on cask.

 

Thanks for the info, must be awesome. This batch of caffe was really good by itself.

 

I got lucky and happened to be swinging by to grab my el cat bottled while taking my daughter to the zoo and grabbed one, drinking it now and making me wish I had grabbed a 64oz instead of Crowler!

I probably would have stopped in for a growler of that but when there's also a cask Zhukov treatment on? Ezpz

 

Growler Tuesday kicked already, before I got here and that was 1:30. Cognac Oak Zhukov still on though

 

Just a shot in the dark here, but I was wondering what type of bottles or cans are usually available at CCB. My buddy is going tomorrow and I was hoping he might be able to snag some stuff. I only saw drafts on the site. Thanks in advance!

 

They usually have their core beers in along with a few other cans and bombers. They have a current list on their website.
