So Dub is double DH and dubviants are DH one more time with XXXX hops? Also how long do you DH? 5-6 days? or is it too much?

 

yes, 077xx has 2 dry hoppings, dubviants 3. we use a rocket so no need to wait all that time for the dissolve, 2-3 days to let the shock pass, taste, adjust.. hit er again

those are fun, but that's more a hop back. if you use that cold side (like a rocket) you will pick up way to much O2, might as well just skip it and start by just putting cardboard in the boil

Thank you so much for these O'dub variants and amazing 2016 canned lineup thus far. In all honestly I've easily tripled my spending at your brewery. One request, I need Boat cans, at Gerard's would be great, but if not I'll come to you.

PS All Orange Everything was better than All Green Everything

 

I have no inside information or any facts at all for this statement:
I think you are going to see fresh cans of Boat and something else this weekend.

(I really hope I am right. My supply of Orange cans is dangerously low.)

 

All Orange Everything is on Tap at the brewery. No growler fills though

 

I still have too many orange cans... thankfully, half of them are BOAT... brace yourselves, beach and beer is coming.

 

Still have 7 AOE. Just hard to land on that when picking a beer out of the fridge. I way overbought and they are obviously way past their prime now.

 

I was just reading somewhere else that it's become a bit more malty over time. I left just one, I'm fine with that, at this point might as well hold it until I'm ready for something a little "maltier"... my palate is ready for summer.

 

I'm just wishing for some Monkey Chased the Weasel around NYC. And more cans of Sit Down Son. Oh well.

 

I am aging a couple of AOE per @augiecarton idea that it may develop some interesting flavors over time. Maybe open one sometime in the fall and see how it is.

I also hung on to 2 cans of SS CREAM to give to my old man as part of a father's day gift. Totally forgetting it was brewed back in mid April. Was hoping it would hold up. I may just drink them myself now. Don't want him to get the less than peak SS CREAM experience
