Stopped by the brewery on Sunday on a trip to see the parents. I have to say I really like this year's batch. I didn't have the 2014, but this is definitely better than last year's batch for me...

@sharpski shared some 3-Way cans with us this weekend in Bend. Super tasty IPA this year.

Heh. I even pushed to open the cans early so we'd actually be able to taste them.

Just spotted at Whole Foods Tanasbourne, for the most agreeable price of $9.99/4-pack. As my buddy James sez, "Get you some."

Soon. Release party this weekend, I believe. Plus, I have a 1/6 BBL coming to my house (in Seattle).

Should be in Boise on Friday with a release at Prefunk on Thursday. I've been holding out on buying other beers waiting for this one to drop.

Looks like the $9.99 price I got last night was a screw-up. My wife went back today to pick up more, and the price is actually $11.99/4-pack.

I'm not surprised. WF and several other places (including Belmont) were running a promotion on Suicide Squeeze because the distributor was offering a discount to help move it before 3 Way came out. Since 3 Way has the same barcode it probably slipped through their system when it was initially received.

I'm really surprised that the distributor had to offer anything on Suicide Squeeze. I thought the consensus from multiple cities around OR (Including Portland, I thought) was that it was a surprisingly short run.

Two FG beers sharing the same SKU again?!? Why does Fort George do this?

They don't seem to be the only ones. I often check my receipts when walking out of a place, and it's hardly uncommon to see what I bought listed as something else. It's either shared SKUs or poor data entry/updating, or both, but it's hardly isolated to a single brewery (or even the beer industry, for that matter).

Had one last night, tasted about as I expected it to. Still very much a Fort George IPA but there is some nice influence in there from Melvin & Barley Browns. Not bad at all.

It is pretty standard, it isn't isolated to FG. Stone is notoriously bad about it, they always seem to have at least a few SKUs that overlap. Sierra does, Lagunitas does, and on and on. Its a pretty simple workaround, thankfully. 3-Way is the same SKU as Suicide Squeeze which was the same as Overdub, each of these are seasonal so just move the SKU over to the new item (assuming all old stock is gone).

Very common for sure, usually the SKUs share the same price, which is good, but occasionally (DFH) it doesn't which can cause more issues for either side.

Should I expect to see it around Bellingham soon?

Most breweries use the same UPC for seasonals. It makes it easier on everyone involved (as long as the price is the same) because they don't have to get the new barcode/item approved at chain stores, it just rolls in and replaces whatever came before it.

Tukwila TW lists it in, I'm gonna stop on my way home and see.
