I don't think I can make it, but if you need a black butte XXIII to fill in that vertical, I have more of those than I need.

thank for the offer, that made me realize I made a typo. I have the XXIII, it is the limited XXII batch that I am missing. If anyone has one of those, that would be awesome.

The XXII is limited because it was infected and they destroyed almost all of them. It would be cool to have it as part of a complete vertical, but not worth trading anything for.

yeah that is what I was thinking. I was thinking of trading for it, but then thought it would probably be better to just have that missing piece. Wish you could make it. Feel free to stop by even if not until later.

Not infected but had issues with the chocolate in the bottles. The cocoa butter coagulated and basically made the beer have what appeared to be tons of sediment when poured. I have had a few bottles and was not bad in any way.

also, I made some beer pickles the other night that should be ready for the tasting. I have made pickles but never beer pickles, so hopefully they turn out. I am also going to working on making a batch of beer ice cream. I am thinking a Mexican Chocolate ice cream with some Chokolat or maybe a coffee ice cream with a BB stout.

I wanted to give this thread a bump as there has been interest for a bottle share in SD, so I wanted to make sure everyone who might be interested can see it.

I am in. Thought Susan would be gone that weekend and I would be watching the kids, but thankfully that has been moved to the next weekend.

That caramel gelato float does sound amazing, do you happen to have a recipe? I am going to make a test batch this weekend of either that or mexican chocolate ice cream.

The first batch of caramel gelato has been made, I am planning on making another batch. Plus I will make waffle cone cups and a chocolate beer sauce using Double Stout.

I am planning on making two dishes of mac-n-cheese. One with bacon and one vegetarian.

Also, there are a lot of maybes. I know some of you won't know until last minute and that is fine. But if any of you are planning on making it or plan on being lame and skipping out please update so I can plan food accordingly. Thanks

Work schedule confirmed and I am 100% in. I would like to bring a few nice bottles but if we are limited to one only let me know. I will plan accordingly and bring a "larger" format bottle to share. @Ryan, when you headed down?

Since it's just one bottle, the pressure is on to bring something good. Hmmmmm...

the 1 bottle rule is a soft rule. I just know i am going to be opening a lot of stuff and don't want it to get too wild that people cannot drive safely home. Plus I don't think my wife wants to come down in the morning to see our house looking like a crack house with a bunch of bearded guys passed out on the flour.
