TG just tweeted that it is for sale in the taproom as of 18 minutes ago. It's always good advice to check before making a long trip though!

What's the verdict on NugMo? Loved Golden Nugget when I was there for my honeymoon last October. Great town and beer!

Maybe they gave him a Dorothy's by mistake. I'd send it back too if I didn't order it.:grinning:

Nah, definitely wasn't by mistake. I just don't think they understood what it was.

Agree on the 5/25 canned Sue being best batch from Florida so far - not quite there yet, but as they say "Rome wasn't built in a day".

Was at the tap room last night and did a side by side between Florida 5/25 and the Sue on tap. There are definite differences, but between the 4 people sampling (all experienced beer drinkers) there was a 50/50 split on preference. This batch is right there in terms of being an overall quality beer. It's just different.

My buddy is headed down there this Friday. Any clue what they normally offer for growler sales? I realize the mosaic golden nugget is coming out, but I'd be happy with just a growler or two of reg Sue, is that possible?

They keep their website up-to-date with their current taplist at the taproom, including if they offer growler fills (as well as price): http://www.tgbrews.com/taplist.html#main

Thank you, I was even on their site looking for that and still managed to miss it.

Sue is pretty typically available for growler fills, but it wasn't last night. No idea if they'll be a restocking before Friday. It seems like any more they tend to have Sue well-stocked for the weekend.

Was anyone there late last night or going early today? Wondering if a trip tonight would be successful to land some NugMo... Thanks in advance!

Same question - heading through Decorah tonight and hope to score some MoNug and more Galaxy Sue if they still have it!

I went last night - I don't think I saw anyone walking out with cases, so my crystal ball says you'll be ok to pick up both. I would doubt it will last through the weekend though. NugMo is absolutely outstanding.

TG twitter account just replied to someone that they brewed King Sue last week, but they didn't say when last week or when it would be ready. So assuming all goes well we can probably expect some of that tasty beverage in the next 2-4 weeks. I know Mike mentioned King Sue would come in a "few" weeks last Friday, so this confirms that at least.
