I'm assuming you have ended up on IoM for family reasons? The only other reasons to go there are the TT and to dodge tax, which would take a year

Hopefully not too offensive to any IoM people , but it is true. However, you do have one of the best flags about, so fair play on that front

you are correct! My wife has family that live on the Isle and my mother in-law has lived there previously as well....so she wanted us all to spend time there. Will be there for a week. What am I in for?

Ooh yes, 2 days off so explored a new (to me) pub by Kew Bridge train station. 10 cask ales and 8 keg beers (with no fosters etc, the most macro stuff being krombacher and Camden Town). Enjoyed Bass on draught which I never see, so that was awesome. Also halves of Gloucester BX mild and Whitstable winkle picker bitter.

Visited Lewes on my day off. Harvey's! Few pints of best bitter on draught, and some wild hop blonde and armada Ale. Brought home bottles of their imperial stout, Thomas Paine Ale, Elizabethan Ale, Christmas Ale and Prince of Denmark. A good day all in all.

Visited Aldi 'beer festival' and was very uninspired.
Had a gut feeling about the Titanic Mid Atlantic though & picked up a couple of those leaving the rest alone.
Glad I did as the Titanic was rather nice & I may even be tempted to pick up a few more.

    Piraat triple hop

A nice typical strong belgian beer but they seem to have got their idea of triple hopping form the likes of marstons and greene king - rather undetectable. Bought from lidl in their 6pack of belgian beers, fill your boots if you didn't see my post in the supermarket sweep thread

    I did, and I did.

Had a Six Degrees North - Hop Nation - nice Saison style beer,
2 x Double Joker IPA - caramel, marmalade, hops...said all this before,
Piraat Triple Hop - Agree with Hanglow, maybe less hops than expected and with a slight bubblegum aftertaste.

Couple of bottles of Oakham Green Devil dated Aug 16 & Nov 16. The Nov one was sooooooo much fresher.
Followed these with a Sierra Nevada Torpedo & a Tesco finest (Brewdog hardcore) IPA.
