Has anyone spotted any fresh P-Sue (late May canning dates) in the north-central suburbs?

Holy crap... this is the first time I have ever seen someone hunting for a malt liquor 40 on this thread. Did they do a barrel aged version perhaps?

EDIT: I had to look it up, this was funny:
E-40 Beer touts itself as the “first craft malt liquor,” and proudly proclaims that it features a taste of honey. A perfunctory Beer Internet scan brings up a few brave early adopters lauding its nose, color, and alcohol content (a wine-like 10 percent); some jamoke on BeerAdvocate (where the beer has four stars) said it tasted like a grüner veltliner, and I’m like 90 percent sure he’s trolling because, c’mon son, that’s a type of rodent. Consistently, reviewers have praised its maltiness, which I guess we’ll take as a compliment, even though it’s sort of fundamental to the very project of malt liquor.

Curious if anyone knows the last canning for Todd the Axe Man this season? Or is it going to be available all year?

I no longer live in MN, but I was in town last weekend. F44 had a full shelf, and per the manager still had several cases left. If they still have some left when I am in town next weekend I will seek it out again...the price point in IA is crazy ($14.99!)

I think it's a year-round now, but possibly brewed less often than other brews on their year-round line-up. Not sure on that. It's under their year-round section on their site, though it says "occasional cans and kegs" whereas the other year-rounders say "year round cans." Maybe someone else can shed further light on the issue. It's sort of unclear whether it is year-round or not from what I've read considering all the hype when it dropped again in March.

I think year around on tap at brewery at least. Cans are probably seasonal-ish, replaced by abrasive in winter.

I have heard that Todd would be from about March to about November now. This came from France 44 the day after they had the Surly tap takeover, apparently straight from Surly.

Thank you, BeerForMyHorses! I picked up some there this evening (also thanks to MlpsNick for the heads-up). They had plenty there...

Gosh, putting all the FL Sue versus Decorah Sue bullshit aside, to get a beer this delicious, at just $10 for a 4-pack of 16oz cans, is super. Credit to this group for spotting it and saving me some running around...great work!

Also, Liquor Barrel New Brighton was offering DDH Sue bombers (I think it was $9) with a purchase of another beer. I passed (I don't do bombers anymore), but in case anyone is chasing it. Not sure of any limits, and I think it was behind the counter, as I didn't see them displayed....but as I said, I passed.

They also had about 5 bombers of (yawn) 2015 The Abyss...I remember a few years ago speeding down Highway 65 to get the last 2 bottles of it, and now they sit there (and I passed, and yawned)...funny how things change...
