It may seem like it, but that's not the case. They both have had consistent pricing depending on the level of ABV/hops used.

Somebody -- and I don't mean me, but somebody out there in the world -- might suggest that we should wait to see if the price has in fact increased before we complain about it. Obviously that somebody has never been to BA, though.

We live in a beer world where people pre-trade beers to fly IPAs across the country and trade those for some other unreleased beer they'll never drink, why shouldn't we invent the art of pre-complaining and pre-straw man-ing?

Yep, Sticky Green and Bad Traffic (8.4%) One Up (8.8%) were the $18 4-packs.
Still a sig ificantly better deal than buying a comparable bomber per fl oz but its pushing it haha.
Highly doubt we will see it go past $18 but hey, who knows.

There may be a new method implemented this Saturday to fight line cutters. It something that's been used for other non-beer related releases where long lines develop and has been great at curbing the line cutting. I hope they try it.

Not sure where this price increase rumor started but Henry has actually been considering LOWERING the prices on a lot of his beers.

Why would they want to repeat an IPA release? If they keep putting out a new limited IPA each week its gonna keep the collectors coming out.

I hope prices keep going up so I don't have to line up at 9 AM eventually. I'll gladly pay much more if it means walking in at 12 and grabbing a full allotment.

Damn - you figured it out. Henry is going to run an auction on Saturday. Cans go to the highest bidders.

    kidding of course

I don't think higher prices will stop anyone, unfortunately. Not with the way things are these days. People say they won't pay more, but they always do. I think it's better to keep prices reasonable, perhaps slightly inflated.

It's kinda like music festivals. Promoters will jack the prices up $50-$100 the next year and they'll still sell out in a fairly short amount of time.

Hey all, I have enjoyed reading through some posts in this thread and it sounds like Monkish is up to some great things. That said, I was able to source a keg of Soul Foudre, but have not been able to get much of a back story about the beer from a cursory search. Is anyone able to provide a little background and some tasting notes on the beer? Very much looking forward to tapping it, but would love to know more about the beer, and the people behind it.

    Cheers!

Great find! Briefly put, it's a biere de garde aged in an oak foudre for something like 16 months.
