My how times have changed. BBH

Kentucky Habit was by far one of my favorite variants and i was able to snag one at my local Specs three weeks ago, also I've seen BBH chocolate laying around several Houston spots, before it was rare to see their stuff sit on shelves for more than a few weeks.

 

I had a Kentucky Habit in the fridge basically since the day it was released... finally decided to try it a couple weeks ago and absolutely loved it. Went out to find more, and its not gone...

 

Where the hell do yall live?

 

lol, that's a typo. It should say 'its now gone' - in Austin - where I was pretty sure I saw it not that long ago.

Part of why BBH hangs around on shelves now is that there's many more bourbon barrel-aged beers currently available compared to when the FUN series began. The first time I saw 003 or 005, it was one of very few barrel-aged beers available, but now? I can't keep track.

I'm not complaining. More is fine by me.

BBH-Cherry will not hang around. Not that anyone expects it to, but you won't see it on the shelves more than a day or two is my bet.

 

I think they are making more so it has been easier to get... it is a great beer.. so if you see some sitting in SA or DFW or Austin... pick it up and drink it.

I'll be going out Monday to get some since I am off. I am done chasing beer for the most part... but if it is released in summer I don't mind driving up to Spec's on Smith Street to get something I like.

 

So BBH Cherry is out tomorrow right?

What's the hype about this thing is available every few months so really nothing to chase here

 

Oh man. That means they are somehow going to release cherry when I'm out of town.

 

Snagged the last one from the shelf at a shop yesterday. Really glad I did. Such a good beer. Hope to see more of this one and it's variants in DFW.

 

Had a glass at the brewery last week, it was much better than the bottle I bought and aged for a couple months about this time last year. Much more barrel and balance.

 

Looks like the next FUN Series release will be just this. Hope I run in to it.

 

Any idea what FUN 14 will be? I know 15 will be the BB three legged lab.

DFW has new release BBH, not a ton, but it is available. We are anxiously waiting on the Cherry BBH...mmmhh cherries.
