Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates (2018)

Not for me. The 3 I've tried have all been amazing, as Spotted Puffer has been the best DIPA I've had.

 

Agreed. I never really gave Pipeworks a shot because there was just too much variety, and i was tired of getting burned on a $10 bomber of funky cinnamon rice cake blonde ale.

Since the canning line though, they seem to have found the happy medium of consistent flagships and wacky experimental releases.

 

I've said it before, but the Sunburst Peacock was just fantastic, and definitely up there with some of the best, freshest IPA's I've had in awhile.

 

PW just tweeted that a limited BA Murderous and BA Good Fiend are going out for distro..

 

I wonder if North Burbs will get these. We didn't get Coconut Jones Dog, but I hope these make it up here.

 

Really? Weird, BA Murderous popped up at LP Binny's last Thursday...

 

Coconut Jones Dog came to Highland Park Binny's when it was released. I picked up a few bottles.

 

FwB sales started on Friday. id wager LP Binny's (rip castle vav) is one of the first accounts to get drops.

 

Yeah, I believe you're probably right (although not being a FwB, I can't confirm ).

 

FWB is always on Fridays, regular distro begins on Mondays, also coconut jones was delivered to several stores in the North Burbs but not every single one, we are not always able to get each release in every single store, we would never exclude an entire region of the suburb from a release, we try our best to spread releases out across the city/burbs as evenly as we can.

 

Anybody hear anything about the BA's coming to the west burbs today?

 

Got my fingers crossed. Going to be my first time trying to snag BA Pipeworks stuff. Hopefully it works out!

 

Luckily enough I am actually on vacation today. I've never had anything barreled by PW and they are my favorite brewery going right now. Anyone willing to PM me a good spot to try today?

Grabbed BA Murderous today (Oakbrook area)

 

Where at? Everyone I've called is out. Including all the Binny's in the area.

 

I feel quite liberated to not be chasing this batch of BA releases down! Rum BA beers don't excite me too much, and I've softened a bit on my desire for more Barleywines. I'm more intrigued to try Lil' Citra once it hits cans later this month.

 

Got a BA Murderous at Sal's in Elmhurst. They're in the back, gotta ask.
