    Anyone know if Ocelot has any bottles available? Not sure what day they do their on-demand bottling.

    They need to be better about updating their FB page or use their website. Uploading a photo or their draft board after any changes and listing available bottles takes minimal effort and maybe 60 seconds.

    was there saturday and picked up some BBA My Sweet Virginia. They also had bottles of Impression and their new ipa People Everywhere. They didn't have any My Sweet Virginia to sample, but if it was anywhere as good as their BBA My Only Friend, it should be excellent. I took a chance on it.

    I don't think its too hot, but I am of the mindset that most bourbon barrel beers are ready to drink when they are released, its rare that I think a beer is good but too hot. To me too hot is usually a result of something gone wrong in the barrel or just a poorly executed beer. I know others like to let them age though.

    Think BCBW. Personally I thought it was better than BBA My Only Friend.

    To me, aging a beer is more about "Oh shit, I have way too many beers to drink. Guess this one's going to age." than it is about "I wonder if this one will taste better if I let it sit in my cellar for x years."

    Aging a beer really is useless to me unless I have two, one to try now and one for later. When a beer is released that's when it's meant to be drank. Unless otherwise posted I.E. Stone Enjoy After or The Abyss.

    What's the scene been like at Aslin the past few Saturdays (assuming I make it early in the day)? Crazy crowds or are people grabbing crowlers and leaving? Mostly because I'll have a baby with me, trying to figure how hectic it will be vs. ocelot.

    I'm going to guess it will be fine by mid-afternoon. Or even better on Sunday, though then you run the risk of them running out.

    I'd say the odds are pretty good they'll still have it Sunday. Cant imagine, they will want to close down two Sunday's in a row.
