Great now all the So Cal natives who only trade for and drink Trillium, Tired Hands, and Treehouse will now be taking up space at Noble. Would rather they just stick to taking up space at Not-So-Monk"ish"-Anymore.

 

Haven Has 2 kegs. Already blew one second one was tapped recently should be on for most of dinner if not late night.

It's crowded, service is great no issues.

 

Reminds me of a quote, from Bob Gibson I think: "A great catch is like watching girls go by--the last one you see is always the prettiest." Great IPAs are like that for me.

Did Haven blow their second leg last night?

 

Looks like Select Beer Store will have Maine Beer Co.'s Lunch (along with some other non-Maine selections) on draft tomorrow. Love that beer. Hope to see a couple other BA folks over there too.

 

FO was still on at Haven during lunch. Down to a few pours left though. Darkstar and Leche still on too.

Yeah, and just confirmed with them that this is the start of some limited, periodic distribution in L.A. Odd, albeit great news.

 

It popped up at Sunset Beer Company last night too apparently, but kicked before the end of the night. Wish I could ,make it over to Select, as I missed out on it.

So sad. Didn't realize this was today and I live a block away. FO tapped by the time I saw this but everything else is still on. Ground State is great as always.

 

The First Clas Pizza event was great! Got there early, so was able to get a flight easily of the good stuff (BA Stouts!), then a few additional rounds! So awesome to be able to have all of those beers on one place! So much FO that we were able to mix with Ground State, DSN, etc. Came up with a few new names/mixes such as Dark State (DSN+GS) - like Red-eye November but a little mellower coffee flavor, Fundamental State (FO+GS), Dark Forces (FO+DSN - copied from the OC Beer Week, so not ours). Can we copyright the others?! Let's just say I'm glad we live in OC to have a "plethora" of FO.l to be able to do things like that. And, I hope BL actually mixes/bottles some of "our" creations for public sale.
