Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

Huh strange, did you see them on display?? I didn't, but I was in a hurry. I originally walked in and walked to the cooler to see how many they had left and if there was a limit. When I called they said they had a few and he would hang on to one for me at the counter. So after not seeing anything on display, I went to the counter and he pulled the Galaxay Sue out. I then asked if there was a a limit and he concurred. I then asked if they had NugMo and he said yes, I said I will take 1 and he reached under the counter and grabbed it. So I assumed it was all at the counter since I never mentioned anything on the phone about NugMo and didn't see anything on display.

Yeah, they were all in the fridge section with the other TG bombers (Smoove, Light Speed, Pompeii etc.) and that's where I grabbed all of them from. Didn't ask about anything at the counter. Like I said though, I only saw one bottle of the DDH left in the fridge, not sure of anything behind the counter. So I'd definitely call first.

 

Top Ten Liquors in St. Louis Park has Galaxy Psuedo Sue

 

MGM Eagan had both NugMo and Galaxy Sue as of about 30 minutes ago. Limit one of each.

Just snagged the last bottle of dry hopped sue from mendota liquor while picking up my dinner from Teresa. They also had the Galaxy Sue and NugMo. for $7.99..

I got an Alpine Mandarin something or other at Apple Valley #3 yesterday. I don't recommend seeking it out, however. Very little carbonation. Or flavor. Your mileage may vary.

Question, Fulton 300.. Is there a bottling date on the bottles or package that I am missing? Picked up a 6er and I think it tastes great and pretty fresh(thankfully). But I could not see a date anywhere on the bottle or package. I would like to avoid gambling if possible..

 

Saw one the other day.. It was a good thing I passed on it..

 

I believe they only put dates on the cases, which seems pointless, unless you are buying the whole case.

 

Yeah as @jera1350 said think its only on the box. Wish Fulton would put a BO date on the bottle. 300 since year round has been so good.

 

Ugh, that sucks. Well hopefully demand gives this one relatively decent turnover. I like it, very enjoyable. A little more heft to it than Mosaic Promise. Big Axe brewing in Nisswa had a really good Mosaic IPA when we were up there 2 weeks ago. I think it was very comparable to Pompeii. Anyway, always nice to find another single hopped Mosaic IPA worth buying.
