Tired Hands (June 2016)

Anyone know if they're still doing growler fills of Pina Colada Milkshake IPA? Not getting in from CA until later tonight and was gonna head that way at some point Friday hopefully for a fill and some cans of they have any leftovers.

 

They posted today's taplist on instagram and Pina Colada is still on there so probably. You can always call the Fermentaria closer to when you're around to check if it's still there. If there are cans leftover they'll probably go for sale at noon so keep that in mind.

HopHands sold out to the person in front of me at 5:50. About 60 cases left of Hoi Polloi.

 

damn that sucks. Maybe a case of HH was a little generous of them...

 

Sorta agree, but also, its different beers every week and there was only 90 cases available, which is on the small side for them.

 

Death Tripper potential cans and a Bottle Release on Sunday per Instagram.

 

I'm heading to the Fermentaria for the first time this weekend and I noticed that they have a couple of bottles available to go right now. Is there a good chance these will still be around this weekend? Thanks!

 

Should be good to get Ourison. If you are there Sunday they are also releasing sticky drippy crystals. Also - if you have time check out the brew cafe as well, it is a few minute walk.

 

Are there usually big lines for rarer bottles as well? Never went to bottle release.

 

No not usually. For just about every bottle release I have been to there has been no reason to wait in line. They hand out tickets when you get there.

That's really interesting. Wonder why it works for bottles but not cans.

 

They gave out tickets for full allotments, and a bunch of people left thinking they wouldn't get any. Tons of people bought less than full allotments, so the people who left were butt hurt that they could have gotten beer. Much internet drama ensued.
