I just ran a search on "ISO:FT" and there were more people looking for Aslin than I would have expected. Not tons and tons like TH/Trillium, but more than a few. Learn something new everyday.

Yea - once Master of Karate popped into the top 250 I'm sure there was a huge uptick in ISOs. A lot of traders, at least on this site, seem to base their trade requests on beers in the BA top 250.

Oh, they are known. People are offering jjjuliusss and vanilla single shot for karate and starfish now. I got a dark lord 2016 offer for aslin hops.

There aren't any lost revenues. They're constrained by capacity - they can't make more beer. The less time it takes to sell their stock, the less the operating costs. Having beer to sell tomorrow means you didn't sell everything you have today. They need to expand capacity, but NOT selling everything they have as quickly as possible has minimal to no benefits.

true. closing when they run out of beer isn't lost revenues. lack of capacity is.

We knew this would happen. Anyone with a pair called this months ago.

Hand over fist, they can now afford Cadillac's. Makes me smile. Chris rides a caddy, it's choice.

Did he/she confirm it with a painfully inappropriate use of an apostrophe?

Can I find your crystal ball on Amazon or do I need to go to my local Miss Cleo's to find one?

Visiting some breweries tomorrow and Ocelot is definitely on the list. Been to Aslin several times, so we may skip there. What do you recommend in the Ocelot area? Is Beltway a good time? Wondering if they have any Grimm left.

Thinking of making my first Aslin stop on Saturday evening. I imagine it'll be wildly busy when they open, but what are people's guesses if I show up around 8? Will I be able to have some pours? Would be ideal to get crowlers, but mostly just want to visit the space and have a draft. Is there a chance they'll be closed/out of beer if I show up around 8?

I think you'll be okay. Once Aslin hits their last keg of any beer they stop crowler fills and it's only draft pours. However, if you were to swing by at 6pm I would be more much more confident.

I'd do Old Ox and Lost Rhino instead of Beltway. The beers aren't Grimm-level (assuming that's still on at Beltway), but the tasting rooms are much nicer; Lost Rhino has food too.

Thanks! How would you rank Lost Rhino and Old Ox? Food isn't that important, really like the BBQ truck at Ocelot. I've never had any Grimm beers, worth the stop if they are still pouring?

You could go to Lost Rhino Retreat instead of the brewery (pretty close to Ocelot), they have a bigger/better food menu and likely the same beers.

If they have Grimm beer still, which they probably do, then absolutely go over there. Their beers are phenomenal, and their dry-hopped sours are underappreciated IMO. Most people lose their shit over their IPA's, but I love the sours they make. Lost Rhino makes some great sours as well, but personally I don't think their other stuff is really that great. Haven't had a lot of Old Ox, so I won't comment on them.

If you are feeling really ambitious, go to Penn Druid.

Yeah not that far away! Seems like Ocelot, Old Ox or Lost R, and end with Beltway would be a good loop.
