Very cool. Thanks for the info. I went to Sam's last time I was there. It was pretty solid. The lady behind the counter though said that Ventura County doesn't get any RR stuff. Is that true? Is it just in LA County (as well as SD and NorCal...obviously)?
Best bet is to use RR's website and check their distributor list. It is broken up between northern and southern CA and then you can search via town name and/or zip code to find the closest store to you.
Total Wine and Whole Foods in Thousand Oaks gets Pliny and Wades Wines usually has bottles of Pliny for onsite consumption in the tasting room. Some other shops in VC recently got damnation but that's it.
Ojai Bottle Company is a bit out of the way, but cool ambiance and great selection in a cool mountain town, plus they have beer on tap!
Five Points Liquor in Ventura has a pretty good selection. I used to visit the area fairly often and they always have a bunch of FW stuff sitting on the shelves.
