I find the differences between beer cultures in different places fascinating. I'm moving to Texas next week (inconveniently just after the O&P release), and I hope you're right about this. The madness up here in Chicago (and for SP in St. Louis) that surrounds releases can be incredibly frustrating.

They would still sell out just as fast, unless they increase production of them. The price won't scare off people who go regularly there whether they drink them or trade / resell them.

Are you talking about the about the new price or the theoretical price of $30/500ml? If you're talking about the theoretical price point I have to disagree. I'm about as big of a fan as Jester King as someone can be and I still couldn't justify that price. But I'm just one person, after a couple fruited sour releases at $20 we should be able to see if it affects the speed of sales and then extrapolate from there.

I was talking about the $30 price point.

Difference of opinion is ok, especially since we won't see anything like that for a long time. Hopefully we won't see it happen, so it's just speculation.

    Cheers.

I was there at 9:45 to pick up my bottles. The guy checking IDs said that they were close to being sold out. The lady selling me bottles said that they had 4 cases left outside and maybe a couple more inside. That led me to think that they were pretty much sold out but based on ^^^^ I guess the workers/volunteers have no idea what is going on.

I thought this would last days, and had planned to try to get some this afternoon. But as I put one of my Blend 2's in the fridge, I saw the release date was 2014. I guess thats why its gone so fast? Would have like a couple though, one of my favorite of the JK sours.

It really is spot on. Crush

And now, 5 full pours will cost you $45 pre tip.

They have setup the special release tent...so the odds of them doing that for 2 cases is 0.

About 250 bottles are left. I said I'd keep the limit at 2, so limit 2. About 2.5 kegs left of glass pours.

Thanks Jeff for a great afternoon yesterday. Watched the line grow while I drank beer and chatted with friends. The line moved rather swiftly i think by the time I got in line. Look forward to more fruit! Peaches!
