So someone just sent this to me...
3 bottles and 2 cans being released, tentatively, on July 2nd at noon.

The timing sucks on this one, as its my girlfriend's bday weekend, and I don't think I can afford to take her out AND buy JWB bottles

Was at the brewery today and saw an unfilled bottle of Big Poppa. Looks like JW is going for different format with this release, 22 oz instead of the 750 ml. Don't have a strong opinion about it either way really, but thought it worth mentioning.

For what they normally charge for bottles, I'm sure everyone would prefer the 750s

    Will they hopefully cost less?

Probably not but their train of thought was probably to get a higher bottle count, since the last two stout releases were very, very low.

Interested in The Green Monsta, wonder if that will be like a 4 pack or just single cans?

names and labels are pretty weak but I'm nitpicking. Would love to get my hands on these. Need to determine if half of my Saturday is worth it.

Trying to make a similar determination. Increasingly, for me, Saturdays are just too valuable for getting up earlier than I get up to go to work during the week, then stand in line several hours for beer. Wynwood is also a pretty unappealing place to stand in line at, in July, under morning sun.

I wouldn't waste 10 seconds of my Saturday waiting in line for any of these offerings. I will look forward to reading this thread later to see if they can manage to clown up another release.

Come on Johny, we know you got burned and you hate JWB, I can look all over this thread. Yet, I completely understand where you're coming from, I have a good buddy who feels the same way as you do, he was also OG.

As Ive said before though, news flash, almost every business owner in Miami is a lavish, douche bag; I'm unaffected by it, it's a way of life down there. Don't care about the guy, care about the beer and its so good. Im just a connoisseur of adjunct stouts and I have no problem at all waiting in line for these or DFPF or Miami Madness.

Ian, you are totally correct I have been burned many times on the customer service front from JWB from day one. I agree they make solid beer, but while you remain "unaffected by it", I will always put a strong emphasis on customer service when it comes to how and where I spend my money. JWB has shown so many times that they don't value their customers, and I for one won't support a business who repeatedly show they could care less about their supporters. I'm going to be staying in Miami for the weekend during the release for another occasion, along with some other friends who all enjoy craft beer. We'll be staying about 4 miles from JWB, and I normally would be among the first to line up for a limited beer release, but we will not be in attendance.

More for you my man, enjoy!

Well, it's not a JWB release without someone chiming in about how they absolutely refuse to give Wakefield any of their hard earned cash. Funny thing is, these bottles will still sell out and the normal shit talkers will be in the trade forums posting up ISOs

I don't support the guy and have been vocal about it. I also have not had any of his beer since he canceled the club, including avoiding his booths at festivals. Some people have integrity, stand for something and stick to it and some don't. Please don't lump us all together.

Guy makes great beer, that has never been in question. More for you all. Enjoy it.

    Cheers my friends.

Bottles are still 750ml. Same size as the Green Man Snozzberry bottles.

See you all at the release!
