    You can duct tape, electric tape, shrink wrap, hot glue, twist tie, and ziploc my beer as long as it arrives safely. It's really not that big of a deal.

    Yes, he did give me a tracking number this time. Ended up shipping FedEx, and it looks like it's on it's way. We'll see if it gets here in one piece on Saturday when it is supposed to arrive

    Tape over newspaper over bubble wrap.

    It's not hard, and gives you more control on the bottom of the bottle, and doesn't ruin the bubbly stuff.

    Pro Tip:
    Use birthday or Christmas paper for extra pizazz.

    All the worry about tape; don't tape bubble wrap, don't tape bottle caps. What's next glue guns for boxes only or maybe staples? As said before we are trading beer not packing materials. My daughter ran around the house with bubble wrap bags on her feet after unpacking a recent trade, she was having fun but some here sound like she should have been punished. Just get the beer there in one piece, I probably over pack and use painters tape on bubble wrap as I have a lot of it. I also grab used bubble wrap shippers as they are great for rolling a bottle up in.

    This trader is still a bad trader IMO. If it takes threat of being outed to get a person to compete a trade 2 1/2 mo.'s down the road, trust me, that person is a bad trader and all would do well to note the name on OP's page, remember it, or paste it somewhere. for easy ref. of who not to trade with.

    Painters tape is a whole other issue. That stuff peels off like a champ (since it's supposed to)! I ran out a long time ago and just never think to buy more.

    Wait wait wait. So he got sent home to repack after trying to drop the box off, and then after someone finally accepted it, it got sent back to him again for poor packaging?

    Hell, even if you get your box he should still be on the list at least for having no clue how to package beer for shipping.

    Well I got the box today all in one piece. So it ended up turning out okay, although very belatedly. He said he was going to send a Heady and didn't but otherwise everything we agreed upon was there. There were some beer remnants on some of the bottles but that's not the end of the world. I've got his name in my profile so you can decide for yourself whether he is worth trading with. Thanks for everyone's help!
