Yep, 18 cases made it to Saturday last time so I wouldn't plan on counting on it

 

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but last time King Sue was brewed, I remember the TG Twitter said next time there will be A LOT more brewed, so maybe we'll see some decent distro for once.

 

Anyone have an idea of how many cases of King Sue will be available?

 

If the post says it will be bottled that day, does that mean it will for sure be available to purchase said bottles the same day? I actually conveniently have Friday off before even learning about this, so this may work out for me being ~5 hours away.

 

Charlie's didn't have DDH Sue, Galaxy Sue, Mosaic Nugget, Sosus, etc. They only seem to stock Light Speed, Pompeii, and maybe one other if I remember. Maybe it was sold out quickly though.

 

Please send some King Sue to MN We're next door to Wis.

 

Providing nothing comes up preventing bottling on Friday, it will probably be at the taproom an hour or two after they open (noon) from my past experiences

 

They sold out of Sosus, Zeelander, Sol Hunter very quickly, usually have Light Speed and still have Pompeii on the shelves. I don't think they've gotten the others yet, as I've been calling 3 times a week... I've noticed it's usually 7-10 days after I start seeing the HyVee's in Eastern Iowa getting them.

 

I thought King Sue wasn't going to see distribution. Has that changed?

 

Not sure if it will or not, but I do hope it does. I have to work Friday.

 

I think there was a tweet awhile back that they weren't going to be sending any DIPAs to distro until their new facility was ready, but they sent out Sosus. That being said King Sue is their most hyped DIPA that comes out with any regularity so it wouldn't surprise me if it is taproom only.

Didn't they say at one point all KS would be taproom only the remainder of this year or was that in 2015?

Is the bottle list on the website accurate? Just curious if I'll be able to pick up anything outside of KS, Lil SuMo, Thresher, and NugMo this weekend.

Yea, it's accurate. They do a good job keeping it up to date. Also, all the people that show up to get KS usually buy other beers as well, meaning the other beers could sell out pretty quickly as well.

 

Yeah, I'm thinking probably a bigger batch based off that tweet. Either way I'll be there by 1PM today
