It's out now as many of you may know. Just picked up some 4 packs at my ABC in winter park Florida. Canned 6/20.

Total wine locations were doing 1 can per person. Ridiculous. abc is 4 pack per person.

Plenty at the brewery according to their FB post from today. If anyone wants to make their life easier.

Yeah for sure saw that too. This was mostly for Orlando guys or ones far from Tampa. I thought about driving 1.5 hours to get it but ended up getting 16 cans so I should be good.

White oaked Hype Alai just doesn't sound that good to me. The last few Jai Alais I've had were nothing like they were years ago and just weren't that good IMO...and oak doesn't seem like a good addition to me for that beer.

You're obviously entitled to your own opinion but don't knock it before you try it. Personally, I think it's a great addition. The white oak smooths out the beer and actually hits it with a slight vanilla aftertaste. Sounds strange but it's damn good!

If it fell in my lap, sure I'd try it...but don't think it will with their distro. I'll just take your word for it

Totally agree with this. And I'd almost go as far to say it's a must try, because it is unique and one of those beers that you can tell exactly how the white oak changed the beer. Granted there are better beers out there, but also nothing quite like this. And since it's out so often now, it's pretty easy to get a hold of via people or trade for other local stuff.

I don't drink Jai alai any more, for the same reasons noted above, it's inconsistent and extra malty when it's bad, but white oak has continued to be pretty good and just something different from the normal IPA experience.

I think you've probably been drinking some Jai Alai coming from CCB's contract brewer Brew Hub. Yes, there have been some past batches that were too heavy on the malt side. I started a thread a year ago about this problem. Lately though the fresh Jai Alai I've picked up has been spot on! You might want to give it another shot.

Was at CCB an hour ago. The fresh Jai Alai there was the best I've had it in months. Super citrusy, bright and aromatic. It was like seeing that girl you dated in high school after she let it go in college on strict malt ball and dead hop diet but then came back with Pilates and got smoking fucking hot at 26.

White Oak was damn good too. Coconut, smooth as vanilla.

Picked some white oak up from local ABC. Got lucky and they weren't limiting it and it is tasting awesome!

Nothing in Fort Lauderdale yet, per ABC and Total Wine.
