$41 all over untappd, which was the price at lost Abbey...there's just no way. 4.2 on untappd. I'll get my first taste of lost Abbey some other way haha.

That's eff'n ridiculous. They are both to be commended for the way they take into consideration the financial capabilities of the common man when determining pricing.

It was on tap at the funkatorium yesterday. Worth it on tap. (7.50 for a pour) $41 for a bottle is crazy.

It is a fine, well balanced sour, not sure I would spend the money on a bottle, but then again I can run over and grab a glass on tap, while it lasts.

Its a very good beer. You pick up on what the spontaneous fermentation did to the beer as it warms up a bit, it's quite wonderful. Still can't justify the price on it.

Agreed. Its tasty on tap, but no way can I personally justify the $41 + tax.

Who is paying that? How do they expect to sell beer at that price?

Tons of people bought in when it was released in California. Wasn't the normal Lost Abbey instant sellout though.

I watched a guy today buy 6 bottles. Folks are buying it.

It's the same price as just about any other Lost Abbey 750ml sour. If they'd called it "Peach DDG" or "Peach Cable Car" it would have sold out in a split second.

That might have been me, though I bought 4 the first time and then 2 when I went back. 2 for me, 1 for a bottle share I'm going to in a couple months, 1 as a donation for a charity event, and 2 for a friend that wanted some (oddly enough, he's near Lost Abbey and liked it so much he wanted more but couldn't get it).

I can understand that pricing in CA when there's plenty of other stuff in that range (partially an assumption), but there's just pretty much nothing in the NC market at that price point. Although it'd be tough to sell it at different prices in CA and NC... Will probably pass, unfortunately

Track 8 and 10 retails at $17 for a 375 ml, not that far off from that. Track 8 is one of the best bourbon barrel aged beers I've had, but won't get it at that price.

It was quite expensive sending barrels across the country to blend I imagine

Track beers retail for $15 in GA, as does Deliverance, Angels's Share, etc. I can't see doubling the bottle size but going nearly triple the price for their sours.

They still had it on tap yesterday, just in case people wanted to stop by and try.
