Sorry for the confusion...I was never looking for it in Jville. I was (sort of) patiently waiting for it to show up in Tampa, and when I saw it was elsewhere in FL I was hoping for some direction as to where to look here. It finally showed up & now it's everywhere. Thanks for looking out for me though!

$9.99 at Sunflower Market in Tucson, AZ (now Sprouts Farmer's Market). I think the Thornydale & Orange Grove location still has some.

I thought it was good but I am aging one now, how long is usually good for Brett-focused beers? This'll be my first cellared Brett.

6-18 months. It will last longer, but right around 18 (and it could be a little less or a little more depending on storage conditions, and of course no one's aged THIS particular beer before) is where the "other" effects of oxidation start to overtake the brett development, and in beers of this type I don't think oxidative notes play very well. YMMV.

Thank you. I'll probably aim for the middle, around a year, since my storage conditions aren't ideal and I don't want to push it.

    Your foresight is quite impressive.

I'm very sure that this beer is a 100% Brett beer.

Right now I'm drinking a 100% Brett Baltic Porter HB that I made based on Chad Yakobson's recipe with WLP644. I don't think that you should judge Brett in such a one dimensional way. Brett can made a great beer.

Picked one up yesterday. Looking forward to killing it but haven't been converted to sours yet.

Its not a very "sour" Brett beer from what I remember. A lot more mellow.

Ah yes, did a bit more reading and know what you mean. Thanks.
Still learning A LOT about yeast strains and what means what. :grinning:
Big newb here. We are so deprived in Canadia.

I know how you feel. We have next to nothing in Arizona for sours or Brett ales. Most of my experience comes from visiting California and picking stuff up there like Russian River and Cantillon.

I'm very fortunate to live on the border across from Detroit. Lots of big acts, lots of sports, and access to quite a bit of beer (via distribution). Only wish the MI west coast was closer.
