Agree with this. Truthfully, I find most OH DIPAs too hot for my tastes. No Lay Ups was an exception. I saw it on the next up list at Milk & Hops last night, so I'm thinking I'll have to get a growler of that when it comes on. Given the amount of kegs that are just now popping up around the city, it seems like they probably brewed a second batch - does anyone know for sure?

Lately I've been digging all of OHS stuff. No layups is incredible and now I'm gonna have to have one today cause you guys are talking about it. As for Grimm, I usually hunt like crazy for it, I normally have 6-8 by now. But I don't even have 1. Grimm to me is special but there are so many local breweries that are killing it right now. I'm in awe to what we have access too. I went to LICBP yesterday. Everything I had got me really excited lol. Unfortunately I will be away for the next OH release.

    Cheers guys

With regard to the HF Double Galaxy that was all around NYC about two weeks ago (and maybe still is), I don't think that's Double Galaxy at its greatest. I think what I've tasted from growlers from the brewery is dramatically better than what is arriving in kegs to the city. I don't know if it's just ppsychology, but Double Galaxy from a growler blew my mind, whereas having it several times over the past year in NYC, I almost always preceded or followed it by a beer from OH, Singlecut, Threes, Tired Hands or the newbie, LIC Beer Project, that I preferred by a wide margin.

No Layups I think is a new batch, slightly better than the first which was great. On for fills at Milk and Hops Astor, I definitely am not having a pour there now and getting a fill. Def not.

Just cracked "this batch" of Green Diamonds. I see why the talk around town...from the last release...has been about Boogie Board and SGE; GD was pure malty butter. Hopefully a one off (i.e
can outlier), as untappd seems to think otherwise

ACE is not even close to being in the same league as Double Citra.

Yeah I wouldn't go that far. Not the best batch of Green Diamonds to date, but definitely not getting any diacetlyl.

I've heard from a few people that the mobile canning companies do not like to mess with brett or any of the sour bacteria for fear of cross-contamination.

I'm sure we will be finding out pretty soon as release day is fast approaching.

Yes but it's more fun to post every 6 hours to see if someone has some inside intel so we can know the third beer being canned this weekend before OH's insta post in a few days.

Yes, but it might not be ready in time so I don't want to announce anything just yet.

Not yet. Still in the fermenter.

Revisiting this tonight via growler and I concur. I wish cocktails tasted this good. I haven't had this since the release and it's definitely peaking now.
