for what I can only assume, doing a release the right way. There are way too many threads saying how bad a release was, this is completely the opposite. Was able to arrive, taste their new release (Irish Stout) and get our beer and go. They were very nice, hospitable, and cordial, even though the two behind the bar was getting their ass handed to them.
The sad thing I can say is that we could not go to the party, it looks like they were preparing for a great one. So cheers to you Lift Bridge, I will now buy your beer more often.

I know they are all different beers but if you had to rate Commander, Biscotti, and Irish stout, what order would you give them. Is the Irish stout barrel aged? I think I heard it's not but I know they have something new in barrels that is either aging now or available. Me thinks it's the beer I am thinking about is still aging.

Edit: Just curious because I thought the commander was A++++ and couldn't have been better while the Biscotti was almost a drain pour.

I thought the ICS was awesome. I am going to re-review when I crack a bottle, since I would rather review from there than a cold tap.

Irish Coffee Stout is excellent...was easy to go have a glass and buy bottles. The Taproom at Liftbridge a great spot to grab a brew on anytime.

Was thoroughly impressed by both the beer and the atmosphere. Lift Bridge throws a damn nice party, glad to see them back on shelves as well.

Privately they told me this is the best beer they have made so far and for good reason it is an excellent beer. I am looking forward to Hop Prop coming back in bottles and draft. They have some other goodies coming around this year. They are making a huge comeback!!

Loved Commander. I'm going to have to make a trip to the Cities soon as I don't think the Roch is getting any ICS

    About the Beer

It is inspired by the delightful combination of whiskey, coffee, and cream. You don’t have to be Irish and it doesn’t have to be the morning to enjoy this labor of love. Our Russian Imperial Stout was aged in whiskey barrels, then blended with a big Milk Stout, and finally infused with locally roasted cold pressed coffee.
