Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

Honestly, it depends what you like. I stocked up on Melange 14 and Chron: 24 because I love barrel aged old ales/barleywines. If you like sours, go for what @Bigtimmyb and @Frosty11161 said. It's all up to personal taste.

Hmm, I was thinking YUMTALOUPE, YUMQUAT, or maybe YUMEGRANATE.

 

Ohhh man, I have a sour that's a year and a half old going at my parents house and I'm going to put a bunch of loquats in it. Totally stealing "Yumquat" as the name.

 

Interestingly enough, my bottle was nowhere near painfully sour, in fact the pleasant, sherry like oxidation had covered up a good deal of the sourness and left it quite balanced. Almost all of the fruit was gone, but it was quite good for what it is at this point in its life. Zero reason to hold on to bottles any longer, but if you have them, open and enjoy.

 

That yumberry one is probably the frucht with pomegranate, raspberries & blackberry that was poured a couple of months ago at firkfest.

 

Or maybe it's Frucht with yumberries...?

 

yeah, it matches the fruit picture on the label. Maybe the one I mentioned was a one-off blend?

I opened my last bottle of Mash last night and it had a pretty strong tartness unlike the other bottles I had. Since I really don't want to search through 68 pages of responses, does anyone know of just regular Mash infections?

 

I actually had a 2015 Mash last night as well. It was definitely infected. Looking on untappd, it seemed that it's sporadic.

FUCK. Hope this isn't true. Great beer have over a case laid down.

 

The Terreux tasting room email just went out. 2 hour sessions starting on Monday the 4th. $5 a ticket and Reserve can buy 2 tickets, not sure if Hoarders got something different.
