What's up with WOB Chelsea?

    It's 1.5 blocks from my apt, so super-convenient. It opened for a couple of months, then suddenly shut down "for renovations," and has been shut for months and months. Latest sign says "Under New Management." Does WOB franchise out to failing managers? Shutting down after a couple of months seems pretty lame.

    Usually when something closes for renovations in NYC, that means it's actually just closed. I live in Chelsea and never bothered to even go in this place. Haymaker opening just a few blocks away couldn't have helped its business, and Milk & Hops in west Chelsea also opened recently which probably took away business. Those two places, plus Cooper's, probably hurt WOB.
