Which breweries option for Santa Ana visit

    a few other spots near option 4:
    -Tustin Brew Co - usually has a solid guest list, Russian River stuff frequently on
    -Hatch in Tustin - same ownership as Iron Press and the tap list is pretty comparable. They do sliders and loco moco dishes

    Like others I would say hit up the DTSA stuff (TGBC, Native Son, Playground). Playground can be rough without a res, so check Opentable. If not, put your name in early and just have a beer at Native Son. Playground will sometimes have beachwood, highland park stuff on tap

    Or just get to Playground around opening and snag a seat at the bar. Full menu and easy access to the bartender.

    DTSA is a perfect place to stay now (I know he didn't say he was staying in DTSA specifically). Solid restaurant and drink options, and central to everything else.

    Santa Ana + Cheap Hotel = does NOT sound like DTSA .. be CAREFUL!!! :slight_smile:

    I would choose option #1 for convenience, and you'll taste plenty of good beer from those three. Plus, you can add Tustin, since it's really close.
