Selin's Grove Brewpub. Just about every beer they make is very good to excellent and their fruit beers (Kriek, Framboise, Saison de Peche, Pumpkin Ale) are amazing. Plus they have great soft pretzels and their prices are reasonable.

Three Floyds. I love the food and beer. I love the vibe. I've NEVER had a bad experience. I do aim to be there during non-peak times.

My best experience was 18th St. They had some great beer on tap, I was able to pick up a good amount of packaged beer, fill a growler, and consume marvelous food. They were quite low key and friendly.

Revolution would be my favorite were it not so popular. Not a bad problem on their end, though. Their mussels are as good as Hopleaf's.

For Pubs/Bars near the Congress I'd say Haymarket, Stocks and Blondes, or Cere's. Cere's is located in the basement of the Chicago Board of Trade and is a local place but has a decent craft beer menu for good prices. It also will pour the strongest spirit drink you've ever had. It closes at 8pm though but is a great stop during the day. Haymarket is awesome too and there on tap selection is great. If your willing to travel a little farther I'd check out Fountainhead up on the Northside. If your looking to bring back any beer with you I'd recommend Capones or Beer Temple, both on the northside but are relatively close to eachother. For breweries, Half Acre is my favorite. Awesome tap room. If your looking to mix it up go a little south to Marz Brewing company. The brew some awesome beers especially the Jungle Boogie or Miserable Rye.

I dig that place too but I prefer Triumph in Princeton. Of course, part of it is how much I like walking around Princeton.

Favorite overall is probably Dogfish Head brewpub in Rehoboth.

I've never made it down to Dogfish. I have to do that sometime. Triumph is a really nice place; I should go down to Princeton more often.

for me it's Triumph in New Hope. New Hope is much closer to me than Princeton. about 10 minutes to New Hope for me.

New Hope/Lambertville are neat towns too. Triumph has good beer and great food, it's a cool place to hang out for a while during the afternoon.
