Your Summer vacation beer plans?

already did my beercation: National Homebrewers Conference, AKA HomebrewCon, was in Baltimore June 9-11. t'was a blast, sooooooooo much beer...

 

My birthday is in October but my amazing wife is giving me an early present in August of a beer-centric weekend trip to Minneapolis. Hoping to hit up 10+ breweries/brewpubs with the main attraction being the Surly Brewer's Table 4-course dinner beer and food pairing. And with Southwest's free checked bags, we will be flying home with a good amount of beer as well.

 

Visiting my son in Minneapolis in two weeks, he has a brewery bar crawl all set, Surly, Steel Toe, Bauhaus, Dangerous Man and Town Hall. Trying to detour to Toppling Goliath on the way up or back

 

Trip to Chicago upcoming (drive to Three Floyds, hit Half Acre, Revolution, Dovetail, Begyle, and Lagunitas). Later summer, off to Boston/Vermont (Tree House, Trillium, new Alchemist location, Hill Farmstead, Fiddlehead, Pro Pig, Foam Brewers, few others based on time).

 

Heading on out to the beach for 5 days starting the 4th gonna have an awesome time at the beach house

 

Plenty of campfires, beers and cigars. I want to relax this summer. Well...also some brewing, brewery tours around the area and my Birthday Brewpub Crawl. Not going to lie, I am really scared to see what my UBER bill will be at the end of the night

 

I'm headed to Asheville next week for 2 days. Plan to visit Sierra Nevada, Wicked Weed brewery and the funkatorium, and whatever else I can find between now and then!

 

I'd like to combine a beercation with vacation, but nothing planned yet. Would like to get to Founders or Central Waters in particular. Also a September beerfest may be a possibility.

 

California trip. Planning SARA, Russian River, Cellarmaker and Rare Barrel. Hopefully can fit a lot in my suitcase on the flight home.

 

I'm heading to SC in July, so hopefully I get to check out Westbrook. Other than that, I just moved to Chicago, so I'll be scouting some of the local talent.

 

My fiance and I plan to hit Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Asheville, Austin several times, LA and San Diego over the rest of the summer. Should be a good summer!

 

Going to Boston in August. What beer ir beers are must haves for me?

 

likely making a trip to Cape May to hop on the Lewes Ferry to Delaware. gonna enjoy the sights and hit Dogfish Head while there. will probably hit Kane on the back home.

 

Probably nothing this year, except maybe a one day visit to Tired Hands. Next summer I'm planning a Vermont trip, though. I'm already excited.

A few weeks ago, my wife and I visited Colorado for the first time. We hit Great Divide, Oskar Blues, Avery, and New Belgium. It was awesome.

 

I am flying to Sacramento the middle of next month I am going to do a brewery crawl probably stop by some well know and some lesser known.

 

If you a have a car West of Las Vegas in Summerlin is Parkway. They have an impressive tap list.

 

My son and I are going to go to Vermont with a stay over in Burlington. The goal is Heady Topper, Sip of Sunshine, Hill Farmstead, Fiddlehead and a swing into Mass. We want to spend an evening at the Farmhouse which is well known for their tap list then back to home base in Lake Placid and then home to Buffalo to share and enjoy our finds. We did it last year hand had a great time.
