150 people bought fuzzy magnums for $140?

Of course they did. 50 of them will drink it. 50 of them will trade it. Another 50 of them will resell it. 75 of those same people would have gladly purchased another one were it an option. And there were likely another 50 shut-out people pissed they couldn't buy one. This is craft beer in 2016.

That was one of the better bottle shares that I've had at a release. A lot of people brought their "A" game. Even Cory contributed to the share.

For me, I got to try 2 different Cantillon brews and 4 different Tree House beers. Also got to finally try a Mexican Cake. But that is just the tip of what I actually got to try.

Someone gave Cory a six-pack of Jackie O's stuff, I think as a present directly from the brewers. He then put the six pack on the share table for everyone to try.

The bottle share at these releases are becoming more and more of a reason why I go. The atmosphere and people are the best. A very good example of what craft beer can be.

Hi all - I'm in town for work and was wondering what beers SP has on right now and which ones are the must trys. Also would be great to not drop a ton of cash.

    Thanks!

If you don't want to spend a lot of money you can usually get somebody there to split one with you. Even then it won't be cheap by any means

No plans for me to go anytime soon, but just curious what DBD costs to drink on-site?

Man, that's a lot to drop on one beer, even if you split it.

I know their tap releases are much cheaper so was more curious about which one of those to definitely try if I make me way over there...

There are a few beers out there that later on you will kick yourself for not trying. This is one of those beers. You will be able to take the bottle home, and get some jaw drops from others who stare at its glory.

Split it 4 ways. $15. Worth it then? Yes.

Unfortunately I'm out here alone for work so splitting isn't really an option unless I get lucky to find someone to split with at the tap room.

Trust me, it won't take much luck to find somebody to split it with. Just ask the people next to you and they'll probably say yes. If I didn't have a jacked up schedule I'd meet you there, I live less than a mile away (still haven't had DBD yet...)
