heard a lady asking if the store had any "plinies". When told no, she said, "gosh, so many beers to decide from... You guys probably don't carry Coors Light, do you?".

But yeah, no big loss if the beer isn't posted somewhere, I guess. It'd be nice to know, but perhaps what you don't know can't hurt (your pockebook)? There's a couple of stores in my rotation that keep the good stuff in the office when they get it in, and a couple that just put it out on the shelf.

EDIT: And I apologize for taking the thread further off track. We can get back to talking about bottling/canning dates on Bells now if y'all want

My Two-Hearted cans were produced only 10 days ago! SUPER FRESH!

Yea - the bottles tasted great. Ended up with two 6 packs from two separate stores, neither has dates. Strange, but maybe they were just getting rid of old labels (these labels are the old ones without the spot for the date).

Always ask if a place has something. Many people simply overlook items and conclude we don't have it. I would discourags phone calls

At Liquor Barn in Englewood, where I'm part-timing, we have Two Hearted cans on the shelf, no maximum.i don't know what would happen if somebody walked in and tried to buy 2-3 cases; we don't have a reputation that draws chasers and hoarders, yet. So I don't know if there's a policy and its above my pay grade.

We also have a few four packs of RL, one per customer, in the cooler, have to ask for. Only got 3 cases.

So they got a license/permission/clearance for a one-time shipment? Must be cheaper than a full time unlimited shipment license.

I got a sixer of oatsmobile a couple months ago when I was on a trip, and it did nothing for me.

A second round of cans/bottles has hit the Denver area today. Picked up a 12 pack of Two Hearted and a couple bottles of Expedition stout.

I got a sixer of the lager; it's pretty tasty. I wonder if they're just going to move in.

I'd be okay with that, @FarmerTed , if for nothing else than the expo stout!

While still not as good as FIS, I really don't think CO produces anything that tastes as good as it... especially when you consider format, pricing, and 'age-ability', it really can't be beat by anything we get around here.

I got a sixer of Expedition today, and also saw Third Coast Old Ale (not my fav style). I prefer Expo to FBS, to be honest. The sixer I got was bottled last November, which is nice.

I can see the argument for Tenfidy.

(Though I do personally prefer Expodition Stout to it as well)
