Maybe the overall flavor and character of the beer didn't really change. They could have changed the hop bill due to limitations in the hop market and not with the intention of changing the beer.

Thanks for the info. Just trying to gauge the expectations for this one.

Putting the canned beers on tap after they're sold is pretty crappy but I know that's how they almost always do it. It doesn't exactly make them look confident in their product when they have to ensure you can't taste the beer before buying cans though.

It was on like....october two years ago? It was great then. Have a grass man growler tag from 10/17 and it was definitely 2014, but as discussed it is different hops. Also they just posted saying a keg of grassman will be tapped at 5.

Limits of 3 4-packs per beer. Hophands sold out super fast a few weeks ago when the limit was a case so this is good news for people trying to try it.

Just added yield, 280 allotments for grassman seems pretty good
We yielded 140 cases of GRASSMAN and 90 cases of HopHands.

Reading a comment on Instagram that this batch of Hop Hands is terrible. Anyone have a first hand reaction to these cans? I know there have been complaints about previous batches wonder if its continuing to fall.

I can't say, but I guess I'm glad I skipped it. Grassman is very good imo.

    Agreed grassman is real nice.

Death tripper last week was awesome, and now this makes two great releases in a row. The ipa they have on tap now that was brewed with galaxy hops is fantastic too.

How can the beer you've made the most continue to suck? That is really disappointing. I'm sure they will make it right though.

It definitely doesn't suck. Less aromatic than earlier batches for sure but its still on of the best pale ales available

I had HopHands on tap yesterday, thought it was one of the better batches yet, had it from the can last night, not as good, but still solid.

Interesting, so seems like the consensus is its still better than most pale ales but the cans are not up to the quality of previous hop hands batches.

no diacetyl or anything like that. I got a lot more melon than in previous batches, but the hop presence isn't as pungent. (its also been a few weeks since ive had it so take that with a grain of salt)
