I had it on tap at the brewery and thought it was really good and that is coming from someone that is not really all that into sours, but I do enjoy them from time to time. I got a couple of bottles but I've not opened one yet, so I'm not sure if it's going to be different out of the bottle then it was on tap.

It's ready now. @Klourie brought me one back, had it last night. It's damn near perfect. They've always done quality sours and this is one of their best to date IMO. Reminded me of Filmishmish, which is easily in my top 10 Bruery beers. Drink it.

I've only had it on tap, but I thought it was absolutely killer. I like Filmishmish, but I think Leopold is on a different level. Its obviously not on the level of Fou but personally I liked it better than West Ashley.

Had Leopold at the brewery today and thought it was pretty meh. Loved that new Saison Mandarina though.

Totally agree with you on that. I thought Leopold was just sourness and some stone fruit flavors. No real complexity or depth. Just good not great.

Exactly how I would describe it. Not bad by any means, but no way was I dropping $20 for a bottle of it.

Really? Surprised to hear that. To each their own, but I thought it was quite complex and really delicious. But admittedly I prefer wild ales heavy on the sour and low on the funk. And it's def not heavy on the funk notes.

Something on tap today called "Mexican Cupcake", looks like ABB is only 4.2 so presumably a non-imperial version of a peppered stout.

Im pretty sure im 38.9. When someone mentioned mexican cupcake to me earlier, i immediately thought about the cake they had on dtaft this year with no heat and extra vanilla.

It was on tap yesterday and it's a session cake. Also I have been it's a brown ale

Mexican Cupcake is a 6% ABV "session" imperial stout version of Mexican Cake- keg only as far as I know, limited distro.
Also released to distro today is Peaches and Cream, a beer they brewed for a wedding, it's a 5% abv cream ale brewed with fresh peach pulp. We got less of this than cupcake.

Eureka Session IPA made it Birmingham on draft and it is really good. Hoping to see more of their small batch stuff make it over here.

Any word on when cans of Key Lime Gose will release? Halfway across the country and Google is failing me. Can't wait for it... if I can find a trade partner!

It's slated for a July/August release and it's on draft at the moment so i'm sure cans are coming soon.

I was at the brewery a few days ago and inquired about this. I was told that it is supposed to be canned this Monday and should be out for distribution later in the week. Let's hope so!
