Forgot to mention, at about 9 there was a line out front of the entrance. I believe, but could be wrong, they were at max capacity and were not letting anyone in. Not sure why else 50 people would be standing out front. Sign at entrance says "max capacity 640", and I believe that does not include standing room. Excellent customer service as well

Not beer, but has anyone seen Bevmos/totalwines/Whole Foods with Modern Times Black House Cold Brew Coffee?

 

I see they fill their growlers and blanks. Do they fill other brewery growlers? With covers on the label?

 

The only really special beer I saw on the their tap list was a sour apricot beer I asked one of the managers if they were going to pop anything special.. That place is going to be crazy this weekend. I would hold offf for a few days unless u get there just as they open.

WFLN has a good amount of Modern Times ground coffee in the back.

 

It was my understanding that this first round of cold brew cans would see limited distro in san diego only just to test the waters. Could be entirely wrong but that is what I gathered from it on tuesday when it was being discussed.

 

I saw some IG posts with some OC bottle shops getting it in.

 

Then I gathered incorrectly. I will place the blame on the euphoric state I was in while drinking the nola coffee mp.

Handy market and Valley beverage had MT cold brew.

 

Unsung Natura DIPA on at BT's in HB. Very good DIPA. A tropical juicy delete with a bit of bitterness. Just a smidge. Unsung should do well here.

 

Speaking of IPAs, apparently Four Sons had an Imperial IPA on tap yesterday that clocked in at about 20 percent ABV. Anyone has a chance to try it? I can only imagine it tasting like straight up ethanol.

 

Are they trying to be the US version of BrewDogs?
