New to Ohio (2016)

Tony's post above explicitly says the word "party". Was it in the announcement? No...but his use of the word certainly was here before your most recent responses.

 

So....today's announcement was intended to serve more of a "save the date." We wanted to give everyone as much of a heads up as we could. Didn't want to wait until next week to announce the date.

The "party" comment is just to put things in perspective for some of the negative folks. YES, it is absolutely going to be an opportunity to buy the first cases bottled of Bodhi (and I promise a larger qty than you prob will once it hits shelves), but it's also gonna be a celebration for us and a chance to have folks at the new brewery.

 

you'd think with a HUGE announcement like this people would be more grateful. Happy 4th.

 

Their taplist is usually too big to even bother recommending anything, which is another good problem to have, but may I suggest, if you happen upon Cycle, and Tang and Biscuits is pouring, get you some of that sweetness.

It's a great thing. People are gonna be pumped and I'm sure it will be hard to keep stocked on shelves. Always happy to see success in local ohio businesses.

 

Maybe the stars will align and Konkey Dong will be the same weekend as Bodhi.

Anyone know when Bodhi bottles will hit Cleveland?

 

Bodhi deserves its own weekend. Space it out a bit.

 

But for those coming from 2+ hours away it would be nice to hit both in one trip.

I paid $10 per growler at Heinen's of mayfield village a few weeks back for Bodhi and 4CLE.

 

Bodhi > Konkey Dong ... Someone had to say it.

I'm sure this batch of KD will taste different than the other different tasting batches of KD.

 

It's a possibility for sure

 

They're both great beers and I am happy drinking either one of them.

 

Juju smokes all of them...

 

God damn Jujuis good. For me though, Juju is too big. But in the end, it's all based on taste and preference.

I think they are two totally different animals. Why do we have to choose one when both are good? How about just admit how spoiled we are for such a great choice and drink what you like?
