I toured the brewery when out for GABF and they make some damn tasty beers in addition to the regular lineup. Very cool place.

Sounds like someone in Golden has at least 1/3rd of a clue...

It's almost frightening the kind of damage the big boys could do in the craft beer world if they wanted to.

Let's face it though... It really was only a matter of time.

This is far from a shock. Where there is money to be made (and theres a shitload in craft), you will find one of the macros weaseling their way into it. They have the money, the technology, the equipment, and the money to do some severe damage.
    Good beer is good beer.

Makes me wonder if these reviewers knew it was coors... And if so, what it would do to their reviews.
I like good beer... And sounds like good beer.
Let's face it... There is money involved, and we all knew it was coming. Can anyone say Lexus. Yeah, that's Toyota, right? Same deal here... Top of the line beer... By mass market cheap company. Bring it. No one bitches about goose island anymore.

The beers that were bottled were very limited ( I think 96 bottles for the Peche) and only sold at one store in the Denver area. I am sure that the majority of people who purchased them or traded for them were aware it was a Coors brand before they bought them. That said they were all great and highly "inspired" by Cantillon beers. Like someone said above good beer is good beer but at the price point they sold for (~$22) it really wasn't much of a deal when compared to loons.

If beer is good I'll drink it. I don't care who makes it. Do the owners of Inbev & MillerCoors worship graven idols?
Do they tie damsels onto railroad tracks?

As long as its good, Ill probably drink it. I much prefer craft breweries because of the quality and flavor, but if Coors can make something comparable, then good for them. It would take a lot though to compare to a lot of the top dog craft beers.

I really don't know how I feel about this, I'm very torn. The grassroots punk side of me thinks this is bullshit and would never buy them regardless of how good the may be. I also have another side of me that loves sour beer and just wants more of it without even a thought of business ethics.

Well Coors isn't the evil empire. They don't go after small craft breweries, now Anheiser Busch.. Thats the true monster.
